Help at Home

After working with computers for over fifteen years and having detailed knowledge of many aspects of IT, I would be happy to offer home tuition in the North Kent area.

There may be something that you're not quite sure on, or it may be a comprehensive explanation of something a lot more complex. Whatever it is, I would be happy to help. I can also schedule a regular check on your home PC or Laptop to make sure it is operating at its best. This may mean checking that it hasn't been compromised with problems such as viruses or spyware and offering advice and installation of software packages. 

Maybe someone you know has recently purchased a computer and is having trouble installing software or getting onto the Internet? Setting up a small home network may be daunting for people new to IT, but I would be happy to help with setting up hardware such as wireless hubs, WiFi, Bluetooth, iPhones and iPads etc.

I can offer hour long sessions to learn new ways to make the most of your home technology. For example, children trying to use the home computer for homework. Or an elderly person who could really benefit from a friendly guide into the basics of computing, how to get started and send an email, print a document or copy photos. Pricing:

£20 - First hour including initial call-out charge, (£20 minimum charge).
£15 - Each consecutive following hour.

Prices shown here are for home tuition, problem solving and any work not related to website design. (Example: £50 for a 3 hour call-out session)
